The filmmaker worked with Eva in making the only film she had a leading role in (La Prodiga), and he was able to interview the populist saint's friends and associates, as well as including stock film footage and photographs to illuminate the course of her extremely dramatic life. In addition to being a straight documentary, this film includes some re-enactments which are used to connect its archival and history segments.
